The First Party At Office

I enjoyed all the parties during the college days. Wasn't expecting anything close to that, but yet had plans of having some fun. I was taking part in a fashion show, was singing a song and also had to anchor the show for sometime. It wasn't a much awaited ETG party to me though it was mentioned by a member of H.R team as one.
The hour of the day finally arrived and I was supposed to anchor the show and welcome the no audience present. An H.R member asked me if I were a professional and had anchored any show previously when I tested the mike, she probably forgot that my profession is testing. It was here I discovered that anchoring a show means reading of a prepared-script rather than coming up with something on the spot. When the show was done much before the expected time, the then anchor of the show had announced that anybody interested in doing anything on the dais could do so. We(ETG March 08 batch) had previously planned to sing a song as a dedication to someone we like from the H.R team. To our surprise we did it but the lady wasn’t much pleased with us or so I thought as she left the show immediately after we sang the song. I decided to have an early dinner and did have it, though none had given me company. The person who joined me for the dinner was Head of H.R Dept. I was home by 9:30pm that was the time when the party actually started for most.

If not everyone, at least she will remember this day. Just as I entered home after a weekfull of work(really??) from office, I see at home that my sisters doing what I am good at. Sankhyayani, one of my cousin who has just written her X class exams came to know that the results were declared. And guess who declared them, not the APSSC board. We at home decided to make fun of her. Initially her score read 537 which on recounting was corrected to 534. She wasn't ecstatic with her results. There was not even a smile on her face that she had cleared 10th class and that too with so many marks. She did not bother calling her mother to share joys, instead she changed her hall-ticket number, and then she found out that small mistakes in hall-ticket numbers will result in large changes in scores. This time she failed in one subject, and immediately she remembers her mom, goes 200m to find a STD both and tells her mom, she had failed in the board exams. Mom's stunned, she had not seen in any of the papers saying 10th class results would be announced. She was not ready to take the "untruth" that her hardworking daughter had not cleared the exams. Later she comes to know it was prank played on her daughter by :">. And guess what happened next. My sister takes all the blame, because she was the one who started it all. I confess my sincere apologies to all the people whose excellent mood was all changed by the mess this Miss has created.

How many people have not faced such situations when you are around me??

My First Post

Dont pinch yourself, what you are seeing is absolutely true. My writing which were "protected" will now become "public".
The thought of what has to be first topic has delayed this blog by at least 2 months if not more.
My successful interview experiences, My school and college lives, Feelings after unsuccessful delivery were one of the many topics that I choose to put up as the first blog. Keep your fingers crossed till I release those products one after the other. Now that I have made a start, the friction is erased for the next posts.
I had one hundred thousand plans with my first salary but most of those plans did not work well, at least this first one does.
